What is Destiny?

Destiny is God’s predetermined destination for each man on the earth Jer. 29:11.

There is what God has predetermined each one He created for on the earth, and how to get it accomplished Jer. 1:5; Gal. 1:15-16. Therefore, life is a written-script that each one is expected to play or act out Heb. 12:1. To make the most of life, one only need to find out what God has mapped out for one’s life and step into it. This is what we refer to as the mystery of predestination, or encounter with destiny.

The Mystery of Predestination.

We must understand that our God is a great God and the King of glory , who made every man in his image of greatness and glory Psa. 48:1; 24:7-10; Gen. 1:26-27. Therefore, whatever was predetermined of God for each one is sure to culminate in the greatness and glory of the individual. The guaranteed way to greatness and glory in life is to discover and step into what God has pre-determined for one’s life on the earth.

How to Step into and Realize our Destiny,

  1. Be born again Rms. 9:29-30; 9:10-11.

Behind redemption is the mystery of predestination Eph. 1:3-6. In essence, at the point of salvation is when an individual is brought into and empowered to realize all that God has made him to be on the earth. And remember, all that God has prepared for a man is designed to culminate in his glory and greatness in life. Outside of new birth, an individual has made the choice to sought life out by himself, and go through life mapping his way by himself.

  • Have a genuine heart for God and the interest of His kingdom Matt. 6:33; 22:36-40; 1Cor. 2:9.

A heart for God and the interest of His kingdom simply refers to love for God. It is the force that positions the believer for the supernatural delivery of all that God has packaged for his life per time. A man with a heart for God does not struggle, but will have everything working for him as he pursues after God and the advancement of His kingdom. This was the secret of David, how God’s plan of becoming the king came to reality 1Sam. 16:1,13; 13:14.

  • Remain open to the word for direction Deut. 5:32-33; Acts 20:32; 2Pet. 1:3.

Encounter with destiny is not possible without being guided by God. We must know how to be guided and submit to it as a lifestyle in order to experience our glorious destiny in Christ.

  • Be committed to a life of prayer and praise Jer. 33:3; Isa. 30:29; Psa. 16:11.

These two forces of prayer and praise have the capacity to make a believer enjoy divine connectivity and carry divine presence always. And with God’s presence, the believer gains access to all that God has prepared for his life on the earth. In essence, every believer that desires encounter with destiny must adopt the lifestyle of prayer and praise.

In conclusion, there is what God has prepared for your life on the earth; it is great and glorious! You can choose to step into it, or struggle through life pursuing your own things. Make the right choice today, because you have struggle enough.

To anyone reading this that will love to give his/her life to Christ, pray this prayer out loud with me from your heart: “Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins; wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me, on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, I believe that my sins are forgiven; I’m justified by your blood; I’m born-again; I’m saved; I’m a child of God; I’m free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Thank you Jesus for receiving me; thank you Jesus for restoring me; thank you Jesus for saving me.”

Prayer.

Father in the name of Jesus and by the power of the Holy Spirit, I step into what you have predetermined for my life on the earth today Jer. 1:5.
