Riches can be attained through many ways outside of God, but only riches gotten through God’s means is free of sorrow, every other way come with plenty of sorrow with it Pro. 10:22. The good news is that God’s will for every of His child is to be rich and prosperous 3Jn. 2. Every provision of God has His approved way to experience it; so what we need is the understanding of God’s way to experience financial fortune and subscribe to it Jer. 5:4-5; 6:16.

The Scriptural Way to Financial Fortune.

The covenant is the way the scriptures present to access wealth in the kingdom Deut. 8:18.

What is a Covenant?

A covenant is a deal enacted by God based on well defined terms and sealed with an oath. When one enters into a covenant with God on any issue, all contentions come to an end and the believer is guaranteed his testimony Heb. 6:15-18; Jer. 30:20-21.

Terms of the Covenant of Financial Fortune.

For the covenant of wealth, a commitment to serve God and the interest of His kingdom with one’s financial resources is required Matt. 6:33; Hag. 1:3-13; Psa. 35:27; Job. 36:11. Scriptures make us to understand that kingdom wealth is entrusted by God, but only into the hands of those He (God) can trust to use it for His purpose Lk. 16:11; Matt. 25:30-40; Matt. 24:14; Zch. 1:17.  In essence, a heart for God and the advancement of His kingdom which is expressed by giving generously towards kingdom promotion makes a believer a candidate for financial fortune.

Two ways of serving God with our finances:

  1. Tithing Mal. 3:10-18; 4:1-2.

Tithing is the practice of returning 10% of every income back to God.  It is because from scriptures we understand that the 10% is for God, and when we refuse to return it we are robbing Him Lev. 27:30,32; Mal. 3:8-9. But when we return it, the windows of heaven open for outpouring of blessings on the believer. This makes tithing the key to a world of financial fortune Mal. 3:10-18; 4:1-2.

  1. Worship offering

This is what the believer brings out of his substance every time he comes to worship God Exo. 34:20; Deut. 16:16-17. It is one way the believer honour God, which moves God to honour him in return (wealth) Pro. 3:9-10; 1Sam. 2:30.It is not in volume, but according to the level of God blessing on your life.

Fringe Benefits of Covenant Practice.

The returns from practicing the covenant of wealth is not only monetary, there are others that money cannot buy.

  1. Avert curses Gen. 8:20-22; 2Sam. 24:24-25; Mal. 3:6-9,10-18.

Giving has the power to break curses, terminate plagues on a life.

  • Guarantee divine protection Psa. 20:1-3; Job. 22:22-25.

Every seed has a voice, and it speaks in the days of evil over the life of the giver; to prevent the evil from touching his life.

  • Procures favour Psa. 35:27; 102:13-15.

Giving has the power to open doors, and bring to an individual what his effort may never Pro. 17:8; 18:16. Every giver enjoys favour which makes him not to sweat in getting things done like others.

  • Guarantees supernatural fruitfulness Gen. 18:1,10; 2Kgs. 4:8-10.

It is seed sown that result in harvest of fruits; the good news is that seed of money can produce every kind of harvest when it is sown into the kingdom.

In conclusion, anyone can become rich by practicing the covenant, because it has no respect for certificate, background etc Pro. 10:4; Acts 10;34-35. It will work for everyone that will faithfully operate it Gen. 17:1-2.

To anyone reading this that will love to give his/her life to Christ, pray this prayer out loud with me from your heart: “Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins; wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me, on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, I believe that my sins are forgiven; I’m justified by your blood; I’m born-again; I’m saved; I’m a child of God; I’m free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Thank you Jesus for receiving me; thank you Jesus for restoring me; thank you Jesus for saving me.”

Prayer

Father, in the name of Jesus, I receive grace to walk in the covenant of wealth from today, making me to emerge a financial giant from this month 1Cor. 15:10.
