The Holy Spirit is the help that every person needs for a fulfilling life on the earth (Jn. 14:16-18,26; Lk. 24:49). The help of the Holy Spirit is conveyed through His multifaceted engracement (Heb. 10:29; 1Cor. 15:10).

The Diverse Graces of the Holy Spirit.

  1. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Love.

The Holy Spirit as the Spirit of love helps to ignite and sustain believers’ love for God, in season and out of season (2Tim. 1:7; Rms. 5:5; Acts 4:13,20). Love is the first and great commandment; when obeyed, a believer has fulfilled all laws and gains access to all provisions of the kingdom (Mat. 22:36-38; Gal. 5:14; 1Cor. 2:9). Love is a choice each one makes (Mat. 6:24).

Why the Need for the Spirit of Faith?

  1. For Believers Love for God to be Strengthened.

Scripture states categorically that the love of many shall wax cold in the last days (Mat. 24:12). Believers that won’t become victims need their love for God to be strengthened – the need for the Spirit of love.

  1. For Empowerment of Believers’ Faith.

Love empowers believers’ capacity to believe all things, which makes faith deliver maximally (Gal. 5:6; 1Cor. 13:1-2,7-8; Acts 24:14). We need the Spirit of love to enable our love deliver this.

  1. For Empowerment of Believers to Command Signs and Wonders.

Love triggers divine manifestations, which empower believers to command signs and wonders (Jn. 14:12,23; Mk. 16:15-17,20).

  1. For Empowerment of Believers Giving Life.

Giving is the sincere proof of love, and giving determines the experience of supernatural wealth for each person (2Cor. 8:3-8; 1Chr. 29:3). The Spirit of love empowers believers for generous giving that brings him into supernatural wealth.

  1. For Empowerment to Carry Divine Presence.

Love empowers believers to access divine presence, which is the secret to making a difference in life (1Jn. 4:16; Psa. 132:13-16). This is why we need the Spirit of love to empower our love for God to levels that makes us fit to carry and sustain divine presence.

Conclusion.

King David was an anointed lover of God; he was a supernaturally blessed person (1Sam. 13:14; 1Chr. 29:3.28). God is not a respecter of persons; what He made happen for David can be reproduced in anyone who will accept responsibility. Over to you!

Salvation Prayer.

To anyone reading this who desires to give their life to Christ, pray this prayer aloud with me from your heart:

“Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins; wash me with your blood. You died for me; on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, my sins are forgiven; I am justified by your blood; I am born-again; I am saved; I am a child of God; I am free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Thank you, Jesus, for receiving me; thank you Jesus for restoring me; thank you Jesus for saving me. Amen!”
