The blessing of God has the guarantee of a most glorious life on the earth (Gen. 1:28; 12:1-3; Pro. 10:22). It is one thing everyone who desires success and fulfilment must labor to secure over his life (Gen. 27:34).
The Worth of God’s Blessing.
- Empowers for Dominion.
God’s blessing is supernatural power that enables believers walk in dominion in all areas of life (Gen. 1:28).
- Renders Destructive Forces Null and Void.
The blessing of God is supernatural power that forces of destruction submit to; when one is blessed, nothing that destroys can touch the individual (Isa. 65:8).
- Guarantees Success and Greatness.
The factors for success and greatness answer to blessing; when one is blessed, those things answer to you in life (Gen. 12:2).
- Makes Supernaturally Fruitful.
The blessing of God empowers for supernatural fruitfulness, irrespective of the constraints and medical verdict (Deu. 7:14).
- Antidote to All Curses.
God’s blessing is the answer and cure for all forms of curses; when it comes on an individual, every curse is broken (Gen. 12:2-3; Num. 23:12).
Covenant Access to God’s Blessing.
- Be Genuinely Born Again.
Genuine salvation is key and fundamental for access to God’s blessing (Psa. 5:12; 2Cor. 5:21). This implies that God’s blessing is for all, but only those who are truly saved can partake of it.
- Be Committed to Obedience as a Lifestyle.
Our obedience to the commandments of God entitles us to His overflowing blessings (Deu. 28:1-3).
- Be Committed to Serving God.
Serving God and the interests of His kingdom is a requirement for flowing in the blessing of God (Exo. 23:25-26; Job 36:11). Serving God faithfully causes God’s blessing to answer on a believer (Mat. 24:45-47; Lk. 19:17-19).
Conclusion.
One cannot be blessed and be stranded (Gen. 12:2-3). One cannot be blessed and be a victim or failure (Isa. 65:8). One cannot be blessed and not be reckoned with in life (Gen. 12:3). But God’s blessing is a personal responsibility. Over to you!
Salvation Prayer.
To anyone reading this who desires to give their life to Christ, pray this prayer out loud with me from your heart:
“Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins; wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me; on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, I believe that my sins are forgiven; I’m justified by your blood; I’m born-again; I’m saved; I’m a child of God; I’m free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Thank you, Jesus, for receiving me; thank you Jesus for restoring me; thank you Jesus for saving me. Amen!”
Prayer.
- Father, endow me with grace to embrace the demands for access to God’s blessing (Zch. 4:6-7).
- Father, by the power of your blessing, I shall walk in supernatural success and glory from today (Pro. 10:22).
