Believers of the end-time are ordained to walk in dominion in all spheres of life, particularly over sickness, disease, and afflictions (Dan. 7:27; Isa. 33:24). Dominion is a function of power; the power level will determine the level of dominion a believer will walk in (Isa. 25:6-8; Psa. 30:5). There are kingdom instruments or weapons for operating in power; they may not look like it, but are power dynamos (2Cor. 10:4-5; Lk. 9:1). Why power? This is because behind sicknesses and diseases are spirits, and it takes power to flush them out and establish our dominion (Lk. 10:1,17-19).

Spirit Behind Diverse Sickness and Disease.

1. The Spirit of Sexual Perversion.

This is the spirit behind immorality and sexual perversion (Hos. 5:4). This spirit makes people vulnerable to devourers like sickness, disease, and affliction (Hos. 5:7; 1Cor. 6:18-20; 10:8).

2. The Spirit of Heaviness.

This is the spirit behind sorrow, anxiety, depression, which often leads to many deadly diseases (Isa. 61:3). On the other hand, joy is a booster of health (Pro. 17:22; Php. 4:4).

One of the channels of empowerment for dominion of believers over sickness and disease is the mystery of the anointing oil (Mk. 6:7-14).

How Anointing Oil Empowers for Dominion Over Sickness and Disease.

The mystery of the anointing oil was unveiled back in the Old Testament, but ordained to be effective through all generations (Exo. 30:30-31). What is this mystery? It is a spiritual medium through which the Holy Spirit manifests Himself in believers’ lives (1Sam. 16:13). The Holy Spirit is the power of God; the same that came on Jesus to empower Him is found in the anointing oil (Lk. 3:20-21; 4:14; Eph. 4:4-5).

What is the Anointing Oil that Heals?

1. The Healing Power of God.

When the anointing oil is received, the healing power flows to set free from every sickness and disease (Jms. 5:14-15; Mk. 6:7,12-13; Mat. 10:1).

2. The Spirit of the Lord that Destroys Yokes.

Whatever is a yoke in an individual’s life is crushed and cleared off when the mystery of the anointing oil is administered (Lk. 4:18; Isa. 10:27).

3. The Spirit of the Lord that Sets Free.

Every force that holds captives is annihilated at the instance of the anointing oil, thereby establishing freedom from all afflictions (2Cor. 3:17; 1Sam. 16:13,19-21).

4. The Spirit of the Lord that Exempts from all Evils.

The anointing oil guarantees believers’ security against the evils in these last days (Psa. 105:13-15; Eph. 1:3).

5. The Mystery of the Fan and Fire.

The Holy Spirit mysteriously packaged in the anointing oil has the mystery of fan and fire that destroys sickness and disease (Mat. 3:11-12). We take shots of the anointing oil for this reason: to engage the mystery of the fan and fire of the Holy Spirit for cleansing our internal part of all that was not planted by God (Mat. 15:13; 4:23).

Conclusion.

By redemption, you have no business with sickness and disease. Furthermore, God has provided you with potent weapons to establish your right of dominion. Please, take responsibility from now.

Salvation Prayer.

To anyone reading this who desires to give their life to Christ, pray this prayer out loud with me from your heart:

“Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins; wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me; on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, I believe that my sins are forgiven; I’m justified by your blood; I’m born-again; I’m saved; I’m a child of God; I’m free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Prayer.

1. Father, I believe Your Word that Jesus took all my diseases, and carried away all my pains and sicknesses (Mat. 8:17).
2. Father, every sickness, disease, and plague afflicting my body is judged, and it ends right now (Mat. 15:13).
