We have established from scripture that believers are ordained to walk in dominion over sicknesses and diseases (Isa. 33:24). There are kingdom provisions for making this a reality, one of them is the mystery of the communion (Jn. 6:53-57).

How Does Holy Communion Empower for Dominion Over Sickness and Disease?

  1. The communion is a supernatural meal for strength, health, and longevity (1Cor. 11:30).
  2. The communion empowers believers to live like Christ–sprit, soul, and body (Jn. 6:53-54, 57; Lev. 17:11).
  3. The communion is made up of the bread or flesh, and the drink or blood; the combination of the significance of each results in healing, health, and wholeness (Mat. 26:28-29; Jn. 6:48-54).

What is in the Flesh?

  1. The Flesh is Likened to the Rod of God in Moses’ Hand.

The same way God’s rod in Moses’ hand swallowed up all the rods of magicians, the flesh swallows up every rod of the wicked in our body (Exo. 7:11; Psa. 127:3).

  1. The Flesh is a “Miracle Meal”.

Elisha dropped the miracle meal in the poisoned food in the pot, and the poison was neutralized (1Kgs. 4:39-41). In the same manner, when the flesh in the communion is taken, all poisons in believers’ bodies are neutralized (Mk. 16:17).

  1. The Flesh is the New Testament Manna.

The Israelites ate manna and none was sick, weak, nor feeble all through the 40 years of journeying in the wilderness (Psa. 105:37; Deu. 8:3). When the believer eats the flesh in the communion, he is empowered against sickness, weakness, and feebleness (Jn. 6:58).

  1. The Flesh is an Eye-Opening Miracle.

Just as the two disciples on their way to Emmaus had their eyes opened as they partook of the flesh in the communion, so when a believer eats the flesh, his eyes open to the truth of Scripture (Lk. 24:30-31). When the eyes open, a believer is empowered to take delivery of his desires (Gen. 13:14-15; Psa. 119:18).

What is in the Blood?

  1. The Blood Carries the Nature of Christ.

When one drinks the blood of the communion, it transmits the nature of Christ into him, which is immune to sickness and disease (Lev. 17:11; Jn. 6:54; Php. 2:9-11).

  1. The Blood Contains the Blood Group of Christ.

Drinking the blood of the communion is spiritual blood transfusion that makes a believer share same blood group with Christ; this empowers him against sickness and disease (Mat. 26:27-28; Jn. 6:37).

  1. The Blood Contains Forces Likened to the “White Blood Corpuscles” in Human Blood.

The blood of the communion transmits the “spiritual white blood corpuscles” into believers, which defend our bodies against all assaults of sickness and disease (1Cor. 11:26-30; Jn. 6:53-54).

Conclusion.

Whatever is a threat to your health and life generally, all you need is a miracle to turn it into a testimony. If you can only allow your faith to come alive, your miracle will be delivered right away (Mk. 10:27; 9:23). Particularly, any health concern will vanish now as our faith rises on what God says in His Word (1Pet. 2:24; Mat. 8:17; Jer. 30:17).

Salvation Prayer.

To anyone reading this who desires to give their life to Christ, pray this prayer out loud with me from your heart:

“Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins; wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me; on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, I believe that my sins are forgiven; I’m justified by your blood; I’m born-again; I’m saved; I’m a child of God; I’m free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Thank you, Jesus, for receiving me; thank you Jesus for restoring me; thank you Jesus for saving me. Amen!”

Prayer.

  1. Father, I believe Your Word that Jesus took all my diseases, and carried away all my pains and sicknesses (Mat. 8:17).
  2. Father, by the flesh and the blood of the communion, everything tormenting my body and life is swallowed up and cleared away (Exo. 7:11).
  3. Father, I receive divine life via the communion today; whatever was dead or dying in my life is restored to life right away (Jn. 6:53-54).
