Memory verse:

“So Ahab went up to eat and to drink. And Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; and he cast himself down upon the earth, and put his face between his knees, 43 And said to his servant, Go up now, look toward the sea. And he went up, and looked, and said, There is nothing. And he said, Go again seven times. 44 And it came to pass at the seventh time, that he said, Behold, there ariseth a little cloud out of the sea, like a man’s hand. And he said, Go up, say unto Ahab, Prepare thy chariot, and get thee down, that the rain stop thee not. 45 And it came to pass in the mean while, that the heaen was black with clouds and wind, and there was a great rain. And Ahab rode, and went to Jezreel. 46 And the hand of the LORD was on Elijah; and he girded up his loins, and ran before Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel.”          – 1Kgs. 18:42-46.

Every believer has a destiny of glory 2Pet. 1:3. Furthermore, God keeps opening doors to make the glorious destiny a reality, but this always attracts opposition from hell 1Cor. 16:9. Every believer has the responsibility to clear off these satanic oppositions to actualize his glorious destiny Eph. 4:27. This is by commitment to prayer and fasting, Mat. 17:20-21. Expectation is vital to make prayer invoke divine intervention Pro. 23:18.

The Power of Prayer Backed Up with Expectation.

  1. Example of Ezra.

Ezra was a prominent priest and scribe in the days King Cyrus when Israel returned to Jerusalem from Babylon. Ezra led God’s people to pray answer-expectant prayer for direction and safety on the way because they had boasted of their God, and this was granted Ezr. 8:21-23.

  1. Expectation Grants Delivery of What We Demand in Prayer.

Whatsoever thing we ask in prayer believing or expecting, we have the guarantee to receive Mat. 21:22.

This means that when we keep speaking the reality of our expectation, we are bound to take delivery 1Sam. 17:26,32-37,45-47; Mk. 11:23.

Jesus is Lord!

Prayer.

Father, my expectation at the prayer altar comes alive by the help of the Holy Spirit, thereby making my prayer life deliver express answers from now (Acts 8:26).

Action.

Expect a minimum of 10 new persons to follow you to church to meet Christ on Sunday.

Priestly Blessings.

Every one of your expectations shall be practically delivered from now!

Your life shall be from glory unto glory from today!
