Memory verse:

“Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.”    – Psa. 35:27.

All over the Scripture, we see God showing delight in the prosperity of His children (Psa. 84:11). The Israelites in Egypt when God gave them favor and the wealth of Egypt was transferred to them in one day is an example (Exo. 3:12; 12:36). The question is why do we still have some of God’s children suffer lack and struggle? This is simply because they lack the understanding of access to the prosperity program of God for His children (Ecc. 10:15). Taking pleasure in advancing the kingdom of God invokes God’s favor that results in supernatural prosperity of the saint (Psa. 35:27). This is what called kingdom service; everyone truly serving God is not permitted to suffer lack (Job 36:11).

Scriptural Example of Giants Made Through Serving God.

  1. The Nation of Judah.

Serving God is not limited to individuals; communities and even nations can make the choice to serve God. In the days of King Asa, Judah as a nation entered a covenant to serve the living God (2Chr. 15:12). This means that God and the advancement of His kingdom become the priority of the nation; policies, laws, budgets etc. of the nation would be structured in this wise (Mat. 6:33). The nation of Judah was so committed to this that they made a law; anyone who did not involve himself in serving God had committed treason liable to death (2Chr. 15:13). The outcome was that Judah had all-round peace and prosperity; there was no more war and destruction in the nation (2Chr. 15:15,19).
