The fall of man in Eden introduced the experience of losses into his life. For example, he lost his connection with God, his dignity, and his dominion Gen. 3:8,9-10; 1:26-28. This is why every person on earth is prone to and plagued with losses Rms. 8:20-23. Praise God, there is a way of escape.

The Escape Route from Losses in Life.

  1. Be Born Again.

Before new birth, everyone is in the kingdom of darkness, under the ministry of the ‘thief’, which makes each person subject to losses in life Jn. 10:10. At redemption, believers are translated into the kingdom of light, thereby rescued from the scourge of losses 1Ths. 5:5; Eph. 5:8; Jn. 10:10. Every believer who will not suffer losses again must walk in the light Jn. 12:35.

  1. Commit to Serve God.

God’s blessing is the cure for losses Pro. 10:22; Isa. 65:8. Serving God and the interests of His kingdom brings about God’s blessing to secure a believer from the plague of losses Exo. 23:25-26; Job 36:11. When seeking first the kingdom of God becomes one’s lifestyle, we are guaranteed to enjoy a life of addition and not losses Mat. 6:33. This means that all we need is to enter into, or renew, our covenant to serve God, and we are ushered into all round rest as supernatural addition becomes our experience 2Chr. 15:12-15.

Conclusion.

Life is a product of each one’s choices; one choice can change the course of a person’s life dramatically either in the positive or negative Deu. 30:19. To terminate the experience of losses, and begin to enjoy a life of additions only requires that one make the right choice and live by it.

Salvation Prayer.

To anyone reading this who desires to give their life to Christ, pray this prayer out loud with me from your heart:

“Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins; wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me; on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, I believe that my sins are forgiven; I’m justified by your blood; I’m born-again; I’m saved; I’m a child of God; I’m free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Thank you, Jesus, for receiving me; thank you Jesus for restoring me; thank you Jesus for saving me. Amen!”

Prayer.

  1. Father, by the blood of Jesus, the plague of losses comes to an end in my life right now and forever 2:14.
  2. Father, I receive the endowment of grace to embrace the covenant responsibilities thereby positioning me for supernatural additions in life from now 6:33.
