God’s nature is to declare a thing before doing it, this is what we refer to as prophecy Isa. 42:8-9; 46:9-10. Whatever God says is ordained to come to pass Isa. 55:10-11. It is important that we recognize the scripture is the most authentic prophecy, because it is the “more sure word of prophecy” 2Pet. 1:19-21. Each believer must accept the responsibility to see prophecy become fulfilled, and this is to receive, believe, and put it to work Jn. 1:12; Lk. 1:45; Jms. 2:18. It takes a good understanding to receive and believe prophecy.
What are Prophecies?
- Prophecies are not predictions; they are sworn verdicts.
Predictions are statements about what one think will happen in the future. Whereas, prophecy is the pronouncement by God of what is sure to happen in the future Isa. 14:24; Num. 23:19.
- Prophecies are Declarations By God According to His Unlimited Resources.
The reason many have a problem with prophecy is, they are often beyond the wildest imagination of the highly limited and insufficient human resources. Whereas God’s resources are in-exhaustive, which makes whatever God says possible and guaranteed to be delivered Psa. 24:1; 50:9-11; Hag. 2:8.
- Prophecies are Pronouncements from God that Invoke Grace for Steadfastness in Stewardship.
Whenever God speaks to people or their situation, His word imparts with grace that makes them draw closer and more committed to Him Ezk. 2:2; Acts 26:19,22; 1Cor. 9:16-17; Php. 1:21.
Fulfilment of prophecy involves warfare because of opposition from the powers of darkness, and cannot be won in the energy of the flesh 1Tim. 1:18; Zch. 4:6; 1Sam. 2:9. Only the hand of God guarantees victory, resulting in delivery of prophecy 1Kgs. 8:15,24. Praise is a major way to secure God’s hand on our lives and affairs, this is why praise facilitates prophecy fulfilment 2Chr. 20:22-24; Psa. 67:5-7.
How Praise Facilitates Fulfilment of Prophecies.
- Praise Invokes the Release of Fresh Oil.
Praise is the covenant platform for encounter with fresh oil Psa. 92:1-2,10. Fresh oil refers to anointing at new level, it facilitates fulfilment of prophecy Lk. 4:18-21.
- Praise Empowers Believers to Subdue Enemies.
Praise imparts with supernatural strength Mat. 21:9-16; Psa. 8:2. This makes believers stronger than opposition, thereby making bringing prophecy to fulfilled Lk. 11:21-22.
Conclusion.
Whatever God says is ordained for fulfilment, irrespective of how absurd or impossible it appears Isa. 55:10-11. Believers are only to accept responsibility, which are to receive, believe, and engage in praise for its fulfilment.
Salvation Prayer.
To anyone reading this who desires to give their life to Christ, pray this prayer out loud with me from your heart:
“Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins; wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me; on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, I believe that my sins are forgiven; I’m justified by your blood; I’m born-again; I’m saved; I’m a child of God; I’m free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Thank you, Jesus, for receiving me; thank you Jesus for restoring me; thank you Jesus for saving me. Amen!”
Prayer.
- Father, empower me by your Spirit for the lifestyle of praise that will make every prophetic word to be fulfilled in my life in the few weeks left this year 61:1,3.

Outstanding success is the birthright of every believer Deu. 28:13; Mat. 5:13-14. Just like a baby-elephant carries the genes of ‘bigness’, so, every believer carries the genes of success. The baby-elephant must be subjected to the demands that make the big size actualized. Thus, every believer who will actualize his heritage of outstanding success must […]
Success is not by luck; it is by covenant that operates by the laws of success Jos. 1:8. We serve a covenant keeping God, not a Father Christmas God Psa. 89:34; Mat. 20:1-9. This means that anyone can dare to succeed, simply by understanding and committing to the laws. Illustration: There was an African-American athlete […]
Success is not a native of any land, race, tribe or nation, neither is it an alien to any; the same goes for failure Col. 3:11; Gal. 3:28; Acts 10:35.36. Anyone can succeed if only he knows what it takes and applies himself to the demands Jos. 1:8. Success is not cheap; it is at […]
Success is the birthright of every true believer, but to actualize this involves certain demands Mat. 5:13-14; Jn. 21:5-6. Though success is believer’s right, it is a covenant that demands for believers to play their part for God to be committed to deliver Jer. 33:20-21; Psa. 89:34. Covenant Demands for Success.
