By redemption, believers are ordained to walk in dominion including dominion over sickness and disease 1Jn. 5:4. Much more, God’s prophetic agenda for the end-time church is to walk in dominion in all areas of life; sickness and disease is a major Psa. 110:1-3. This means that every present-day believer is design for a life absolutely free of sickness, disease, and affliction. One reason this seems not to be the experience of a number of believers today is because, there is the responsibility for it, which is the understanding of our weapon and skill in engaging it 2Cor. 10:4-5.

The Weapons for Dominion Over Sickness and Disease.

1. The Holy Communion.

The Holy Communion is a kingdom mystery meal made up of both the Bread and the Drink Jn. 6:48-58. The bread is the flesh of Jesus, while the drink is the blood of Jesus Mat. 26:26-29.

How the Holy Communion Empowers for Dominion Over Sickness and Disease.

1. The Holy Communion Imparts with Strength, Health, and Longevity.

It is a mystery meal with the capacity to impart supernatural strength, which will make for health and longevity 1Cor. 11:23-30.

2. The Holy Communion Empowers to be Like Christ.

The communion possesses the life of Christ, which is transmitted to believers when taken Lk. 17:11; Jn. 6:53-54,57. Thus, the believer is supernaturally empowered spirit, soul, and body 1Ths. 5:23.

What is in the Communion that Heals?

Remember, the communion is made up of the flesh and the blood.

What is in the Flesh?

1. The Bread can be Likened to the Rod of God.

It swallows up the rods of the magicians in our body Exo. 7:11; Isa. 11:1; Lk. 10:19.

2. The Flesh represents the “Miracle Meal”.

It neutralizes all forms of poisons in our body 2Kgs. 4:39-41; Mk. 16:17-18.

3. The Bread is the New Testament Manna.

It destroys all forms of weakness and feebleness Deu. 8:3; Psa. 105:37; Jn. 6:58.

4. The Bread has Power for Eye-Opening Miracle.

It tears veils off resulting in the opening the eyes, which leads to possessing of one’s possession of health and wholeness among others Lk. 24:16,30-31; 2COr. 4:4; 2Pet. 1:3.

What is in the Blood?

1. The Dominion nature of Christ.

This is immune to sickness and disease resulting in believer’s walk in dominion over them Lk. 17:11; Jn. 6:54; Php. 2:9-11.

2. The Blood Group of Christ.

This brings believers into Christ’s same blood group that empowers for dominion over sickness and disease Mat. 26:27-29; Jn. 6:55.

3. The Blood is Likened the “White Blood Corpuscles” in Human Body.

It defends our body against all assaults of sickness and disease, resulting dominion walk over them 1Cr. 11:26; Jn. 6:53-56.

Conclusion.

At the beginning, God gave man food to be eating with no drugs to be taking; the food has the power in it to keep him in health all his days Gen. 2:16. When man fell, both man and al creation lost the power inherent in them, including the food God gave man to eat Rms. 8:20-22. At redemption, God introduced another kind of ‘food’ to keep the new man in health all is days on the earth, that is the Holy Communion Mat. 26:26-29. When we receive the communion as such and begin to take it with this understanding, we are guaranteed to walk in dominion over sickness and disease all our days.

Salvation Prayer.

To anyone reading this who desires to give their life to Christ, pray this prayer out loud with me from your heart:

“Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins; wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me; on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, I believe that my sins are forgiven; I’m justified by your blood; I’m born-again; I’m saved; I’m a child of God; I’m free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Thank you, Jesus, for receiving me; thank you Jesus for restoring me; thank you Jesus for saving me. Amen!”

Prayer.

1. Father, empower me by your Sprit for the responsibility of engaging God’s word, thereby walking in dominion over sin, sickness and disease from now 4:20-22.
