By redemption, believers are ordained to enjoy showers of blessings Gal. 3:13-14. This means that God’s blessing is the right of every child of God Deu. 7:14; Gen. 1:28. We must understand that like every other kingdom provision, blessing is free by availability but goes with a cost by accessibility. What are the prices to access showers of blessings.

Covenant Demand for Access to Showers of Blessings.

  1. Be Genuinely Born Again.

Salvation through Jesus Christ is the first demand for access to showers of blessings Acts 3:26. Until Christ steps into an individual’s life, he keeps living under curses Gal. 3:13-14.

  1. Be Committed to Obedience Lifestyle

God’s showers of blessing usually follow believer’s obedience Deu. 28:1-2. This means that obedience is the trigger for showers of blessing Lk. 5:5-8; Jn. 21:5-6; Jms. 1:25. For obedience to trigger the showers, it must meet the following conditions.

  • It must be unreserved obedience 2:8-11.
  • It must be obedience to the full 14:24; 2Cor. 10:6.
  • It must be obedience to the end 24:35.
  1. Be Committed to Proclaimed Blessings from the Priest.

Proclamation by the priest is the trigger for showers of blessing Num. 6:23-27; Gen. 14:18-20. The priest proclaims the blessing, and God confirms it in believers’ life; until the blessing is proclaimed by the priest, God has nothing to confirm Isa. 44:26.

This answers on a 2-way channel:

  • The faith of the proclaiming priest 1:5-6; Rms. 14:23; Mk. 11:23.
  • The faith of the receiving believer 6:5-6; Mat. 9:29.

Conclusion.

When an individual is under showers of blessing, he is guaranteed an enviable life Pro. 10:22; Isa. 65:8. All that we need is to accept the responsibility for access to showers of blessing.

Salvation Prayer.

To anyone reading this who desires to give their life to Christ, pray this prayer out loud with me from your heart:

“Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins; wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me; on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, I believe that my sins are forgiven; I’m justified by your blood; I’m born-again; I’m saved; I’m a child of God; I’m free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Thank you, Jesus, for receiving me; thank you Jesus for restoring me; thank you Jesus for saving me. Amen!”

Prayer.

  1. Father, in the name of Jesus, I receive endowment of grace for the responsibilities for showers of blessing, thereby bringing under open heavens from today 4:7.
