Imagine a life where nothing is capable of stopping, or hinder, or limit you? This is what we refer to as breakthrough; when in spite of oppositions, obstacles, and challenges, one is unstoppable as one keep making progress Exo. 14:14-15. This is God’s design for His children, and genuine love for God is the secret to this order of experience Rms. 8:28; SOS 8:6.
What is Love (Love for God)?
- It is Placing God Above All Else Including Self.
This means, making God more important than every person and thing in one’s life, including oneself Lk. 14:26-27; 6:40.
- It is a Kingdom-priority Lifestyle.
This means the things of the kingdom ranks uppermost on one’s scale of preference in life Mat. 6:33.
Some believers have certain individuals they have placed as the most important in their lives, some others it is a thing that occupies that position. Such person or thing is who or what they obey when there is a clash of interest with God and kingdom affairs Rms. 6:16. This is what is why some believers seem to be limited and helpless.
What is in Love that Engenders Breakthrough?
- Love Enhances Access to Revelation.
Love gives access to the secrets of the person that one loves; such secrets of God is what we refer to as revelation Deu. 29:29; Jn. 15:15. Revelation takes off limits, and empowers believers for higher realms of glory 2Cor. 3:18; 2Pet. 1:3.
- Love Empowers our Faith to Deliver Maximally.
Faith takes of limitations, and empowers believers into the realm of all possibilities Mk. 9:23. Love is what makes believer’s faith potent, effective, and to deliver result Gal. 5:6; 1Cor. 13:2.
- Love facilitates Answer to our Prayers.
Love makes believers to enjoy divine audience, with his voice commanding response from God, which results in answered prayer Psa. 66:19-20. This means every limit is as weak as a simple prayer from the believer, make potent by love.
- Love Enhances Access to Wisdom from Above.
Love brings believers into union with God, who is known as the only wise God, resulting in the wisdom of God robbing off on him 1Jn. 4:16; 1Tim. 1:17; Pro. 13:20. This is why, every true lover of God in scriptures were men who walked in divine wisdom 1Sam. 13:14; 18:14,30; Rms. 8:35-39; 2Pet. 3:15.
Conclusion.
God’s will for His children is continuous progress, and the demand for this is unwavering love for Him Pro. 4:18.

To anyone reading this who desires to give their life to Christ, pray this prayer out loud with me from your heart:
“Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins; wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me; on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, I believe that my sins are forgiven; I’m justified by your blood; I’m born-again; I’m saved; I’m a child of God; I’m free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Thank you, Jesus, for receiving me; thank you Jesus for restoring me; thank you Jesus for saving me. Amen!”

God’s word is loaded with wonders; how much of it is revealed to a believer determines how much he experiences (Psa. 119:18; Gen. 13:14-15). This means that the life of wonder ordained by redemption will only become a reality to the extent believers catch revelation of the wonders in the word (Isa. 8:18). What are […]
The Bible is not a history book, not a religious text; it is a book of mysteries loaded with wonders (Mk. 4:11; Psa. 119:18). When believers catch the revelation of these wonders in the word, it invokes dramatic transformations as their lives turn to wonders (Gen. 13:14-15; 2Cor. 3:18). The question is, what are these […]
Often, the challenge with some people is not really the devil, powers of darkness, or any enemy, but themselves – their neglect of salient but vital factor of life (SOS 2:15; Jms. 3:3-5). Thanksgiving is one of such factors; when neglected, it tends to lead to self-destruction (Psa. 28:5; Lk. 16:12-21). Why Do We Give […]
