Labor is a vital kingdom requirement for profitable and great life Pro. 14:23; 22:29. However, we must understand that a hundred years of labor can never compare in value with one day of favor from God Exo. 3:21; 12:26,40-41. In this kingdom, we do not wait for favor, we invoke or intreat it by engaging in the covenant demands Pro. 13:15; Psa. 45:12.
COVENANT DEMANDS FOR INVOKING DIVINE FAVOR.
- Be Born Again and Remain So.
Salvation makes favor the right of every believer Psa. 5:12; 2Cor. 5:21; Eph. 2:8. By redemption, believers should not labor like their counterparts in the world.
- A Heart that Pants after God.
A heart that desires God and His kingdom’s interests is key to invoking favor 1Cor. 13:14; 16:22. This is expressed through tireless commitment to serving God and kingdom Psa. 102:13-15; 35:27; Mat. 6:33.
- Stay in Love with God.
Love to God invokes a continuous flow of divine favor 1Sam. 13:14; 1Chr. 28:4. This love is validated by our love for what God loves, which include His word Psa. 138:2; His house Psa. 84:1-2; the souls of men Jn. 3:16; and giving 2Cor. 8:8.
- Walking in Obedience to God’s Instruction.
Obedience to God is a covenant trigger for divine favor Deu. 28:1-12; Jn. 14:21. Every believer who desires to walk in divine favor must choose to obey God’s instruction.
- Have Faith for Favor.
Everything in the kingdom is deliverable only through faith Mat. 9:29. Believers who desires to experience divine favor must build their faith by feeding on God’s word Rms. 10:17.
Conclusion.
Every man is absolutely responsible for their outcomes in life – whether to experience of labor or favor. Do not wait for a change; make it happen by committing to the demands for invoking favor.
Salvation Prayer.
To anyone reading this who desires to give their life to Christ, pray this prayer out loud with me from your heart:
“Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins; wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me; on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, I believe that my sins are forgiven; I’m justified by your blood; I’m born-again; I’m saved; I’m a child of God; I’m free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Thank you, Jesus, for receiving me; thank you Jesus for restoring me; thank you Jesus for saving me. Amen!”
Prayer.
- Father, endue me with the grace for tireless commitment to the demands for divine favor from now on 5:12.
- Father, as I commit to walk in the covenant, I declare my time of favor becomes an open manifestation 102:13-15.
- Father, by the force of divine favor, every captivity, struggle, and stagnation in my life is terminated right now 3:21.

The altar of prayer and fasting is the altar of express answers to prayers Isa. 58:6,9. Answers to our prayers are dependent on our level of empowerment Eph. 3:20. Thanksgiving is a cheap way to invoke God’s power; it facilitates delivery of answers to our prayers Psa. 92:1-2,10; Php. 4:6-7. We must therefore look forward […]
The scripture is not a history text or religious book, which we memorize and quote. The scripture described herself as the “more sure word of prophecy” 2Pet. 1:19-21. It is the documentation containing God’s prophetic agenda for His church and His people Isa. 29:11-12; Acts 20:32. Hence, God has spoken about everything that concerns our […]
