Memory verse:

“But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word. 7 And the word of God increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith.”    – Acts 6:4,7.

The church of Christ on the earth is ordained for unstoppable and unending growth, but this can only happen as believers accept the responsibility of engaging in prayer (Mat. 16:18; Isa. 66:7-8). This implies there would be no growth of the church without prayer by the church (Acts 6:4,7). This is why every growing church is a praying church, and every growing church must keep praying to keep experiencing growth (Ezk. 36:37). The good news is that there are great rewards believers who engage in laboring in prayer towards the advancement of God’s kingdom and church growth (Pro. 14:23).

What is in Kingdom-Advancement Prayer for Me?

  1. Kingdom Advancement Prayer Secures Supplies for Our Personal Needs.

Praying for the needs of others, especially the needs of brethren, is a veritable form of kingdom advancement prayer (Gal. 4:19; Col. 4:12). Scripture states clearly that what we pray for others, God makes happen for us (Eph. 6:8,18; Pro. 11:24-25). This means when we are steadfast in kingdom advancement prayer engagement, we move God to supernaturally supply our needs, resulting in supernatural advancement of our lives (1Sam. 7:3-6,7-10; 12:6,23).
