Memory verse:
“If the clouds be full of rain, they empty themselves upon the earth: and if the tree fall toward the south, or toward the north, in the place where the tree falleth, there it shall be.” Ecc. 11:3.
In the natural, it is the accumulation of evaporated water in the cloud that eventually pour as rain on the earth, when the cloud is filled and cannot hold it’s weight again. The scripture make us to understand that, this is the same way it works in kingdom life. Every labor towards kingdom advancement is adding to one’s spiritual cloud, and when this becomes full, it will pour down as blessing on the believer Ecc. 11:3. This mentality is what we need to remain tireless in our stewardship, with the guarantee of our rewards 1Cor. 15:58.
Scriptural understanding to build a covenant mentality.
- There is God’s expectation of us in stewardship.
When the believer meets the expectation of God in stewardship, which God has for every child of the kingdom. The believer is guaranteed his rewards Lk. 12:48; Jn. 15:8; Gal. 6:9. We must therefore endeavor to meet God’s expectation on our lives as individuals.
- Unshakable faith is vital continuity in stewardship to the point of reward.
The situations of life will always discourage the believer from continuity in stewardship. Therefore, it takes unshakable faith to keep at stewardship to the point of rewards, in spite of the situation Rms. 4:16-21; 1Cor. 15:58.
- We must maintain joy and rejoicing to access our rewards.
Joy will impart the believer with the strength required for active and continuous service to the point of rewards Neh. 8:10. And joy is vital to see our effort produce fruits, which is essential to be qualified for rewards Joel 1:11-12; Jn. 15:16.
