Memory verse:

Believers need only to understand God’s interest and become aligned to enjoy the full benefits of kingdom life Ecc. 3:1,11. God’s interest on the earth in all generations is the growth of His church and advancement of His kingdom Mat. 16:18. When church growth becomes the priority of a believer, he has positioned himself for a glorious life Mat. 19:28-29. One vital kingdom force for church growth is the mystery of thanksgiving; it’s a subtle force and the reason many churches struggle to experience growth Jer. 30:19.
The Power of Thanksgiving.
- Thanksgiving is Must for Advancement.
We must give thanks heartily for where we are to qualify for advancement; it is not just lip thanksgiving but from the depth of the heart Isa. 29:13; 1Sam. 16:7.
- Thanksgiving Empowers to Access the Next.
Only those who are grateful for the present can ever access the next that God has prepared for them Lk. 17:17-19.
What Basis Are We to Continue Thanking God?
- For the Increases and Additions.
Efforts of man alone dos not guarantee increase Mat. 6:27. God is the one that increases and adds to the church 1Cor. 3:6-7; Acts 2:47.
- For the Word that Brought Growth.
Church growth ultimately is by the word of God Acts 6:7. God is the one that gives the word that keeps the church growing Psa. 68:11; Psa. 107:20.
Jesus is Lord!
Prayer.
Father, thank you for every soul saved and gathered into the church all through the just concluded Operation Run here in this church Jn. 6:44.
Action.
Appraise the result of Operation Run to have the statistics for your thanksgiving.
Priestly Blessings.
The oil of gladness is released afresh on your life now!
By your thanksgiving, you shall scale new heights beginning from this week!
