Memory verse:     

“Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.”                            Psa. 35:27.

One thing that never gets result for anyone in God’s kingdom is begging. Begging in any form is a wasted effort; either begging God in prayers or appeal to His emotions by doing things. God’s kingdom operates by covenant, and the scriptures state clearly that our God is a covenant keeper Psa. 89:34; Jer. 33:20-21. It is a kingdom with diverse and great promises that ordained ultimately for the believer to emerge in greatness 2Pet. 1:4. The scriptures further makes us understand that serving God is the covenant demand that activates the fulfilment of all the promises of the kingdom in a believer’s life Job 36:11; Mat. 6:33.

The provisions of God’s kingdom that serving God guarantees include:

1. We serve to enjoy freedom.

Curses are the negative forces in the unseen realm that are at work to ruin a man despite the efforts he makes Gen. 3:17-19. They are transferred down the generation until they are broken. The cure for curses is God’s blessing Num. 23:8,20. Therefore, we do not beg to be free from generational curses, we serve our way into freedom Exo. 23:25-26.

2. We serve to experience fulfillment in life.

God created every man for a definite assignment in life; which is what results into a fulfilled life Jer. 1:5. The assignment is a part of God’s grand plan for man on the earth, which means it will serve God’s purpose. In essence, we do not beg to be fulfilled in life, serving God is the pathway to fulfilment Mk. 3:14; 10:28-20.

Serving God is the believer’s secret to the glorious life promised by redemption. This is because God is not looking for who to abase, but who to elevate Pro. 11:30; Dan. 12:3.

Jesus is Lord!

Prayer.                                                 

Father in the name of Jesus, I receive grace afresh for a new level of commitment to kingdom service, thereby qualifying me to walk in kingdom blessings Zch. 4:7.

Step out and secure more unsaved souls for Christ.
