We live in an embattled world; access to the things that belong to us is only through warfare Deu. 2:24; 1Tim. 6:12. Our warfare is with invisible forces Eph. 6:12. What God does is to train our hands to war and our fingers to fight Psa. 18:32-34; 144:1. In essence, we must know our weapons and skilled in the use of them, and accept responsibility to experience the victory ordained for us Gen. 14:14.
Wisdom: The Ever-Winning Weapon.
Scripture shows us that among the various weapons of our warfare, the wisdom of God is the ever-winning weapon of life Pro. 21:22; Ecc. 9:14-16. Out of ignorance, many believers today have resigned to fate where they accept their experience as their lot; all they needed is to rise and fight with good understanding of their weapon 1Sam. 17:39-40. The good news is that new birth makes the believer an overcomer 1Jn. 5:4; 2Cor. 2:14.
Scriptural Examples of Conquerors through the Weapon of Wisdom.

- Daniel.
He is known as ever-winning patriarch, who wins battles without any physical fight Dan. 6:1-5,10-23. His secret was hearing from God, and doing same Dan. 2:16-19.
- Paul.
He was a more than conqueror apostle Rms. 8:35-39. His secret was unusual insight into divine secrets, and raw application of same 2Pet. 3:15-16; Eph. 3:1-5,8-11; Acts 14:15-20.
How Do I Keep Growing in the Wisdom of God?
God’s wisdom is in levels; the level a believer operates in will define his victory in life battles Rms. 11:33. When we grow in the wisdom of God, we enjoy corresponding dimension of victory. What are the ways to grow in God’s wisdom?
- Keep making Demands for Wisdom.
We demand for God’s wisdom in prayer to gain access to it Jms. 1:5-8. To keep growing in wisdom therefore, we only need to keep demanding for wisdom in prayers Jms. 4:2.
- Keep Walking in the Fear of God.
The fear of God is a sure access to the wisdom of God Job 28:28; Psa. 111:10; Pro. 1:7; 9:10. To keep growing in wisdom, it requires that we keep walking in the fear of God Psa. 25:14; Dan. 6:1-5,20-27.
- Stay in Love with God.
The love of God is a sure access to the wisdom of God 1Cor. 2:9-10. David a renowned lover of God became a custodian of His wisdom 1Sam. 13:14; 2Sam. 14:20. As we grow in our love for God, we grow in the wisdom of God 1Sam. 18:5,14-15,30.
- Pray for the Enduement of the Spirit of Wisdom.
The Holy Spirit is known as the Spirit of wisdom, among other things Isa. 11:1-3. To grow in wisdom, we need to seek for more impartation with the Spirit of wisdom Job 32:8; Eph. 1:17-18.
- Be Committed to the Study of the Word.
The word of God is God’s wisdom bank, where we go to make withdrawal of wisdom as needed 2Tim. 3:15. A sure way to grow in wisdom therefore is the study of God’s word 2Tim. 2:15; 4:15; Eph. 3:1-5.
- Be Committed to Meditation in the Word.
As established already, God’s word is the bank of God’s wisdom 2Tim. 3:15. A vital access to the wisdom of God is meditation in the word Psa. 119:97-100. To grow in the wisdom of God, we must commit to consistent meditation in the word of God Psa. 1:2-3; 1Tim. 4:13-15.
Conclusion.
Wisdom is every believer’s right Mat. 11:19; Lk. 7:36. This is why every child of God is ordained an overcomer in Christ 2Cor. 2:14. The only thing is that each one must accept the responsibility for his access to wisdom, by embracing the demands.
Salvation Prayer.
To anyone reading this who desires to give their life to Christ, pray this prayer out loud with me from your heart:
“Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins; wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me; on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, I believe that my sins are forgiven; I’m justified by your blood; I’m born-again; I’m saved; I’m a child of God; I’m free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Thank you, Jesus, for receiving me; thank you Jesus for restoring me; thank you Jesus for saving me. Amen!”
Prayer.
- Father, I receive the grace to respond to the demands for access and growth in God’s wisdom, thereby causing me to walk as an overcomer in life from today 11:33.
