Love for God brings a believer into the failure-proof realm of life 1Cor. 13:8; SOS 8:6. This is the realm where noting is permitted to fail in one’s hand and life Rms. 8:28. Not only will one’s life be insured against failure, great things will begin to happen effortlessly 1Cor. 2:9; Rms. 11:17.

What is Love (Love for God)?

  1. Love for God Involves Denying Oneself for Christ’s Sake.

This involves the choice to deny ourself of rights and privileges for the sake of Christ and God’s kingdom Mat. 16:24-28; Lk. 9:23-25; 1Cor. 9:23

  1. Love for God Involves the Lifestyle of Delightsome Obedience.

When obeying God is no longer a burden or duty but a delight, then one has understood what love for God means Psa. 112:1-3; 1:2-3; 1Jn. 5:3.

What is in Love that Engenders Breakthrough?

  1. Love Enhances Commitment to Kingdom Service.

Love stirs up the spirit, which enhances believers’ commitment to kingdom stewardship Pro. 18:14; Rms. 8:35-38. This means whenever one’s service for God is taking a downward trend, one must quickly check his love for God.

  1. Love Engenders Access to Divine Strength.

The love of God imparts supernatural strength on believers Eph. 3:17-19. The strength so imparted empowers believers for exploits Dan. 11:32.

  1. Love makes All Things to Work Stress-free.

The love of God makes believers to enjoy success without sweat, as great things begin to happen of their own accord Rms. 8:28; Mat. 6:33.

  1. Love Turns Ordinary Individuals into Living Wonders.

The love of God translates and transforms, turning any child of God into a living wonder Eph. 3:17-19; 1Cor. 2:9; Isa. 8:18.

Proofs of Genuine Love for God.

  1. All Round Rest.

Rest is evidence of love; one is at rest around his beloved 2Chr. 15:!2-15.

  1. All Round Favor.

One way the love of God shows forth is all round favor in that makes the individual not to struggle like others before getting things done Rms. 8:28; Mat. 6:33.

Examples of Love-Made Breakthrough Personality in Scripture.

  1. Nehemiah

Nehemiah had deep love for God; he exhibited this when he heard of the deplorable situation of Jerusalem and God’s people in it, to the extent that the king noticed it Neh. 1:2-4; 2:1-3. He abandoned the comfort to the palace to rebuild Jerusalem walls and ensure the well-being of the people 1Jn. 3:16-18; 4:21. He emerged suddenly as the governor of Judah Neh. 5:14.

Conclusion.

Love for God is a choice that each person has to make Mat. 6:24; Jos. 24:15. It is a choice that has turned mere person into reputable and notable individuals. YOU ARE THE NEXT!

Salvation Prayer.

To anyone reading this who desires to give their life to Christ, pray this prayer out loud with me from your heart:

“Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins; wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me; on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, I believe that my sins are forgiven; I’m justified by your blood; I’m born-again; I’m saved; I’m a child of God; I’m free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Thank you, Jesus, for receiving me; thank you Jesus for restoring me; thank you Jesus for saving me. Amen!”

Prayer.

  1. Father, in the name of Jesus, baptize me with the Spirit of love, thereby turn me to a breakthrough personality from today 5:5.
