We serve the God of times and seasons; the understanding of the time is vital to the outcome of the believer Ecc. 3:1; 1Chr. 12:32. This understanding will enable the believer to know the right thing to do, which will result in an enviable life. From scriptures, the end of the twelfth month is vital; heaven must hear the praise of God from man if he will not be plunged into wilderness experience in coming year(s) Dan. 4:29-33. King Nebuchadnezzar was sent into seven years of wilderness experience for the carelessness of not giving glory to God at such a time like this. Among other wonders of thanksgiving and praise is that it is the gateway to our high places in life.

Thanksgiving is Gateway to our High Places.

Remember, the believer is designed to keep experiencing advancement with each New Year Pro. 4:18. Every believer that will learn to celebrate God at the end of the twelfth month (like today) is guaranteed to move to a higher ground in the coming year.

What is in thanksgiving that makes the believer to access the high places?

  1. It is the gateway to scaling new altitudes.

Thanksgiving is a spiritual lifting force that enables the believer to scale new altitude as the believer engage in it Psa. 92:1-2,10. No matter the limitation, giving thanks has the capacity to lift the believer to surmount it Hab. 3:17-19.

  1. It makes life to appreciate.

Whenever the believer engages in thanksgiving everything begins to appreciate and increase supernaturally Jn. 6:10-13. While whatever we don’t appreciate will begin to depreciate.

Other Wonders of Thanksgiving.

  1. i) Thanksgiving is the fruit of our lips that secures return on our seed.

Time, energy, and resources investment in stewardship are seed sown by the believer. Thanksgiving is the covenant tool for harvest of the seed sown Pro. 13:2; Heb. 13:15.

  1. ii) Thanksgiving moves the believer from healing to wholeness.

Wholeness refers to the state of sound health, which means total absence of sickness, weakness and the likes. This is God’s will for the believer 3Jn. 2. From scriptures, we understand that thanksgiving is the kingdom mystery that brings the believer into wholeness Lk. 17:17-19.

  • iii) Thanksgiving empowers to flourish even in hard times.

Hard time is prophetically ordained for the end time, which we are in already 2Tim. 3:1. But the believer is ordained to be exempted from the hard times of the end time Mal. 4:1-2. The scriptures show us that thanksgiving is the covenant weapon to flourish even in hard times, and be exempted from the hardship Psa. 92:1-2,12-15.

The Danger in Lack of Thanksgiving.

  1. Lack of thanksgiving can lead to captivity.

In gratitude or not giving thanks on time is considered in the kingdom as pride Jer. 13:15-17. Pride makes God to resist any man, which in turn results in stagnation vulnerability to captivity Pro. 16:18.

In conclusion, we have to a serious time on the earth, which will be characterized by hardship like the world has never known Mat. 24:21-22. But the believer is ordained for glory and flourishing in the midst of the terrible time Isa. 60:1-2. Thanksgiving therefore as a lifestyle becomes vital for the believer to adopt in the time we have come to, for our exemption from the hard time to be a reality.

To anyone reading this that will love to give his/her life to Christ, pray this prayer out loud with me from your heart: “Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins; wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me, on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, I believe that my sins are forgiven; I’m justified by your blood; I’m born-again; I’m saved; I’m a child of God; I’m free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Thank you Jesus for receiving me; thank you Jesus for restoring me; thank you Jesus for

Prayer.

Father in the name of Jesus, cloth me with the garment of praise afresh; thereby empower me for thanksgiving as al lifestyle from here Isa. 61:3.
