Thanksgiving is the attitude of recognizing the blessings of God in one’s life Psa. 103:1-2. Man naturally does not easily recognize the good things and easily forget them, while he is very much in touch with the negative and what has not happened. So the believer is commanded to lay it to heart to recognize and remember what God has done Mal. 2:1-2. This is because God is an accurate recorder; He has records of the good He has done and waits for acknowledgment from each one Lk. 17:15-19. Everyone that returns to give God thanks is entitled to experience Him at a new level Lk. 17:17-19.
The power the believer releases in thanksgiving.
- Understand that we serve the God of multiplication.
Our God is a God of multiplication Deu. 1:11; Acts 6:7. God does not only hate to see things remain at the same level, but execute His judgment on such Lk. 19:13-24. In essence, God demands multiplication from the believer, and will not accept excuse for lack of it.
- Thanksgiving is a vital key to command supernatural multiplication.
The scriptures make us to understand that God designed the believer for continuous progress and multiplication in life Pro. 4:18. From scriptures, we understand that thanksgiving is the key to make multiplication happen Jn. 6:6-11; Jer. 30:19. This is why God commanded the believer to give thanks always, so as to keep experiencing multiplication in life.
Jesus is Lord!
Prayer.
Father in the name of Jesus, I make the choice for thanksgiving; I receive the grace to be committed for life Zch. 4:6.
Action.
Identify the issues of concern, and focus your thanksgiving on them all through today.
