Memory verse:
“In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” – 1Ths. 5:18.
The scriptures clearly instructs that for everyone that is in Christ, we are to give thanks in everything 1Ths. 5:18. In essence, whatever is the experience of the believer, God ordained for him to be thankful. What is the promise of God for the believer that does it? Remember, every instruction of scriptures is for the profit of the believer that obeys 2Tim. 3:16-17. From scriptures, we understand that thanksgiving makes the believer to be entitled to the delivery of God’s promises IThs. 5:!8; Heb. 10:36.
Understanding how thanksgiving works to deliver testimonies.
- The example of feeding of 5,000 men, less women and children.
Jesus had multitude with Him in the wilderness, estimated as 5,000 men without counting the women and children Jn. 6:10. Out of compassion Jesus demanded that the people should be fed, but the challenge is where they would get the supply of food that will be sufficient for the crowd Jn. 6:5-7. Remember, this is impromptu situation that was not prepared for. But Jesus took the five (5) loaves and two (2) small fishes they had, gave thanks and instructed that they serve the people Jn. 6:9-11. The people ate to fill, and had twelve (12) basket’s full of left over Jn. 6:12-13.
- Thanksgiving has the power for supernatural multiplication.
Giving thanks to God releases the multiplication power of God to work Jer. 30:19. A vivid scriptural example is the supernatural multiplication of the 5 loaves and 2 fishes through Jesus’ thanksgiving to feed 5,00 men Jn. 6:11-13.
Jesus is Lord!

Father in the name of Jesus, thank you for the answer to all my expectations at Shiloh 2023, I know my testimonies are released already Rms. 4:20.

In what areas do you desire multiplication? Give God thanks for them.
