Ways of Engaging in Stewardship Towards Kingdom Advancement.
- Inviting People to Church for their Salvation.
Inviting people to church weighs the same as reaching out to win souls and bringing them to church. This is because as they come to church, they have the privilege of encounter with Christ through hearing the gospel, with the result of getting saved and becoming established in the faith Jn. 1:40-42. The following are some of truth about inviting people to church in scriptures:
i) The example of the Samaritan woman – She went out, inviting people, and all men of the city followed her to meet with Christ 4:13-19,28-30,39.
ii) It is a scriptural instruction – We are instructed to go again and again inviting people for the feast of the word in church 14:18-23; Isa. 25:6-8.
iii) It has great rewards – God is honored in the multitude of people, and He honors back those who are part of inviting the multitude to church 14:28; 1Sam. 2:30.
