Memory verse:     

“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication

 with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.” 

“And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep

 your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

• Php. 4:6-7.

Scriptures make it clear that we serve the prayer answering God Jer. 33:3; Matt. 7:7-8. God has promised that every time a child of His makes a demand on the prayer platform, He is committed to answer Jn. 16:23-24. But in reality, many cannot point to any prayer they made that was answered by God. Some others have answer to prayer, but it is not all the time they experience such. What is the challenge? There are principles or protocols that make prayer to command answer; a fundamental one is to engage thanksgiving in our prayer Php. 4:6.

The Power of thanksgiving for Answer to Prayer.

1. Thanksgiving makes our voice to be heard in prayer.

Scriptures make us to understand that whenever God hears the prayer of a believer, answer is guaranteed 1Jn. 5:14-15. In essence, when there is no answer to prayer, it indicates God did not hear in the first place no matter how long and loud the person prayed. Thanksgiving is the protocol to observe to secure God’s audience in prayer Psa. 100:3. Therefore, every prayer that must be answered must be accompanied with thanksgiving Php. 4:6.

• The example of Paul and Silas.

Scriptures instruct us to follow those who have obtained what we are in pursuit of Heb. 6:12. Paul and Silas engaged in prayer, but it was like no response. Then they engaged in thanksgiving and praise, and the response from God was instant and dramatic, with physical manifestations beyond what they demanded for Acts 16:25-27. The guarantee we have is that, it will work in the same way for anyone who will do same Mal. 3:6.

As we engage the power of thanksgiving and praise in our prayers, Shiloh 2021 shall fully deliver God’s plan and purpose in our lives as individuals.

Father in the name of Jesus, I receive a fresh release of the Spirit of joy and gladness for genuine thanksgiving from today Isa. 61:1,3.

Action.

Make the decision never to make a demand in prayer again until your thanksgiving and praise has established divine audience.
