Memory verse:
“And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine? 18 There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger. 19 And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.” – Lk. 17:17-19.
Redemption brought believers into a dimension of life where next levels is the natural experience Pro. 4:18; 2Cor. 3:18. Every believer who will experience this dimension must have the understanding of how to make it a reality Ecc. 10:15. Scripture shows clearly that giving thanks is the demand for next levels experience in life Lk. 17:15-19. This means, every believer who will not be a victim of stagnation, rather desires to keep advancing must subscribe to thanksgiving as a lifestyle.
The Power of Thanksgiving to Effect Next Level Experience.
- Thanksgiving is Gateway.to Breakthrough.
God’s presence will always answer to thanksgiving, making oppositions and obstacles to clear off that result in breakthrough Psa. 24:7-10. Therefore, thanksgiving is gateway to next levels of breakthroughs Jer. 30:19-21; Jn. 11:40-44.
- Thanksgiving Delivers from Devastations.
When a believer disregards the hand of God, he suffers devastations Psa. 28:5; Acts 12:21-23. This implies, giving thanks delivers from becoming victim of devastation and forces of destruction.
One enemy of thanksgiving is offence. especially in God. We must beware of being offended in God, it blinds the eyes to the good things happening and complicates issues in the individual’s life.
