Memory verse:
“And out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of them that make merry: and I will multiply them, and they shall not be few; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small.” Jer. 30:19.
The scriptures make us to understand that no matter the level a believer is found, there is the next level higher than the present that is ordained for him Deu. 1:6; Mic. 2:10. God’s design is for the believer to step into the next level per time 2Cor. 3:18. The scriptures further show us that the responsibility for advancing to the next level is to engage in thanksgiving Jer. 30:19. Thanking God for the present is what entitles the believer to step into the next level prepared for him in life.
What is it about thanksgiving that guarantee next level experience.
- Thanksgiving commits God to make the next a reality.
The life of the believer is a written script by God, which he is only expected to play out Isa. 46:9-10. In essence, God has mapped out everything about the believer’s life, and has designed it in a way that the believer is to keep stepping into new levels. Until the believer gives thanks for the last, God is not committed to make the next a reality Jn. 11:41-42. In essence, when the believer learns to be thankful, his ascent to the next level is unstoppable.
- Thanksgiving is gateways to next levels of victory.
From scriptures, we understand that the point of advancement or change of levels are diverse adversaries out to contend with the believer’s progress 1Cor. 16:9. It is only the believer who overcomes the adversaries that will experience next level. Victory in life is of or from God 1Jn. 5:4; Pro. 21:31. Thanksgiving is a guaranteed way to stir God into manifestation for the believer’s victory over the adversaries, thereby establishing his next level experience in life 2Chr. 20:12-17,22-24.
Jesus is Lord!
Prayer.
Father, in the name of Jesus, baptize me afresh with your Spirit for the life of thanksgiving, resulting in my continuous experience of next levels of blessing Isa. 61:1,3.
Action.
Make the decision to be blind to what Is not working, and to see only what God has done.
