Memory verse:
“Then Peter began to say unto him, Lo, we have left all, and have followed thee. 29 And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel’s, 30 But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life” – Mk. 10:28-30.
Understanding is vital to a believer’s experience and outcome in the kingdom Psa. 119:144; Pro. 21:16. We understand that serving God is the most profitable venture on the earth Job 36:11; Exo. 23:25-26. Kingdom stewardship can be classified into three: spiritual, financial, and physical stewardship. The returns on spiritual stewardship are incomparable to any other form of stewardship 1Tim. 4:8. This is why two brethren can be serving intensely, and the difference in the rewards will be a wide gap apart.
Ways of Engaging in Spiritual Stewardship.
- Engaging in Soul Winning.
Soul winning is going after unsaved people to present the gospel and love of Christ, with the opportunity for them to embrace the life of Christ Mat. 28:19-20; Mk. 16:15-16. Every believer is redeemed to be a soul winner; advertising Christ to the heathen Jn. 15:16; Jn. 4:29,39. Baptism with the Holy Spirit is fundamentally to empower believers to be effective in soul winning endeavors Acts 1:8; Lk. 9:1-4.
Every labor in God’s kingdom attracts rewards Pro. 14:23. Divine presence is the foremost benefit of spiritual stewardship Mk. 16:15,20; Lk. 10:1,17-19. Divine presence makes all the difference in life Rms. 8:31.
Jesus is Lord!
Prayer.
Father, endow me with the grace for tireless commitment to spiritual stewardship, thereby turning me to the envy of all Job 36:11.
Action.
In this last week of Operation Run, make a commitment to number of souls to win.
