Memory verse:

New birth brings the believer into fellowship with and service for God Mk. 3:14; 10:28-30. The fellowship is to sustain the supernatural life he received at salvation Jn. 15:1-2. While the service qualifies him to enjoy the abundant life redemption offers Jn. 10:10; Job 36:11. There are different types of service; spiritual service is the most rewarding and will make the believer emerge a wonder in life 1Tim. 4:7-8.
Ways of engaging in spiritual service.
- Praying for new converts and new members to be established in the faith.
Prayer for converts helps them to abide in the faith and church, which is essential for the believer to qualify for due rewards for his labor Jn. 15:16. The following will empower the believer to commit to this order of prayer.
- When we pray for new converts, we shut the door against the manipulation of the devil targeted at drawing them back from the faith 4:19.
- The believer is called to partner with Christ through intercession, in order to see new converts established in the faith 4:12; Jn. 11:26-29.
- The believer is to seek first the kingdom of God, which will bring him into favor with God; and prayer is a sure platform for this 6:33; Psa. 102:13-15.
- Getting converts to be established through prayer makes the believer’s life filled with testimonies 35:27.
Jesus is Lord!
Prayer.
Father, in the name of Jesus, empower me by your Spirit afresh for effective engagement in soul winning Acts 1:8.
Action.
Take the list of all your converts for the year, and pray for them mentioning their names.
Priestly Blessings.
Everyone of your converts for this year shall become established in the faith!
Every plot of hell to draw any of your converts back to the old life is crushed now!
