Memory verse:
“Who is like unto thee, O LORD, among the gods? who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?” – Exo. 3:21.
New birth brings believers into the realm of the supernatural, where signs, wonders, and the miraculous are normal Isa. 8:18; Jn. 3:8. We established from the scripture that praise is the responsibility every believer must embrace to make this a reality Exo. 15:11. The life of Abraham is a vivid example of the power of praise in stirring the supernatural. God told him at age 90 that he has made him a father of nations Gen. 17:4-6. This sound ridiculous; for a man of 90 years old who was barren to bear children. Abraham engaged the power of praise to make the miraculous happen, by bringing forth Isaac at 100 years Rms. 4:18-20.
The Power of Praise in Stirring the Supernatural.
- Praise Destroys Prison Gates to Secure Supernatural Liberty.
Life has gates and doors, to control access of unauthorized persons Isa. 45:1; Psa. 24:7-9. The enemy strives to take control of the gates, thereby hinder progress of believers, and access to their rights 1Cor. 16:9. Praise is believers’ weapon to destroy the gates, gain supernatural liberty, and have charge over life Acts 16:25-30.
- Praise is Key to Fulfilment of Prophecies.
Whatever God says is guaranteed to be fulfilled Isa. 55:10-11. Praise is a prescribed scriptural way to experience the fulfilment of God’s word and promise Psa. 149:6-8. Hezekiah engaged in praise to make the God’s declaration of death cancellation and addition of extra 15 years come to pass in his life Isa. 38:1-5,18-20.
