Serving God is what makes a man a servant of God Rms. 6:16. Serving God is the core demand found in scriptures that qualifies a believer for the blessing of God Exo. 23:25. Every believer and every man requires the blessing in order to make the most of his life on the earth Pro. 10:22. In essence, every believer is to be actively involved in the service of God and His kingdom.
Serving God is not just about being busy and full of activities in the church, but it is about engaging in activities that promote the enlargement of God’s kingdom and the growth of the church Jn. 4:34-36; 15:16. These include basically; kingdom advancement prayers Lk. 2:37-38; Soul winning Jn. 15:16; follow-up of converts and invitees until their establishment Acts 15:36; engaging our finance in promoting God’s kingdom Hag. 1:8-9.
