Serving God is what makes a man a servant of God Rms. 6:16. Serving God is the core demand found in scriptures that qualifies a believer for the blessing of God Exo. 23:25. Every believer and every man requires the blessing in order to make the most of his life on the earth Pro. 10:22. In essence, every believer is to be actively involved in the service of God and His kingdom.

Serving God is not just about being busy and full of activities in the church, but it is about engaging in activities that promote the enlargement of God’s kingdom and the growth of the church Jn. 4:34-36; 15:16. These include basically; kingdom advancement prayers Lk. 2:37-38; Soul winning Jn. 15:16; follow-up of converts and invitees until their establishment Acts 15:36; engaging our finance in promoting God’s kingdom Hag. 1:8-9. Our teachings this week is focused on examples from scriptures of individuals who had neither church title nor any ordination but were accredited servants of God and how service turned their life into amazing glory. Remember, we are instructed in scriptures to follow the examples of those who have obtained Heb. 6:12.

Scriptural Examples of Servants of God who had no Church title or Ordination.

1. Job.

Job was a renowned business leader, the greatest in the world of his days Job 1:1-3. Yet, scriptural record has it that God acknowledged him as one serving God Job 1:8-9. He had no spiritual title or ordination, but he was an accredited servant of God. In essence, you don’t need to be a prophet to be a servant of God or be into serving God. a believer really does not need any further ordination to serve God, it is simply to make the choice and get involved.

Therefore, you are not wasting your time and resources serving God, it is your platform for investing into your destiny with the guarantee of a great and glorious future Exo. 23:25-26; Jn. 12:26; Gal. 6:7-9.

Prayer.

Father in the name of Jesus and by the Holy Spirit, empower me with might in the inner man for tireless service Eph. 3:16.

Action.

Set goals for yourself in kingdom service; number of souls to win into God’s kingdom, kingdom advancement prayer investment, kingdom promotion financial investment etc.
