Memory verse:
“Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.” Psa. 35:27.
We have established from scriptures that our God is the “I AM THAT I AM”, who has an unchanging personality Exo. 3:14; Mal. 3:6. Therefore, the instruction of God to serve Him is not to His advantage, rather it is to the advantage of the believer absolutely Deu. 28:1; Job 36:11. Serving God is not a gift or a calling, but a choice each individual makes, with the outcome of access to God’s blessing Jos. 24:15; Exo. 23:25-26.
The benefits that accrue to the believer in serving God.
- Serving God guarantees healing, health, and wholeness.
Serving God is about engaging in advancing God’s kingdom and growth of the church, this is essentially soul winning 2Cor. 5:17-20. Such engagements identify the believer as an ambassador of Christ, which qualifies him for health and wholeness in return Pro. 13:17; Jn. 15:1-2.
- Serving God subdues all devils under our feet.
Serving God through commitment to soul winning engenders access to the power of God Lk. 9:1. Power is the answer to all assaults from the forces of darkness, because the enemy will always submit to God’s power Psa. 66:3. In essence, serving God makes the believer to subdue all devils Lk. 10:17-19.
Therefore, soul winning is an established way of life in the kingdom that guarantees the reality of abundant life for the believer Isa. 52:7. This is because soul winning will secure divine presence that results in triumphant living Mat. 28:18-20; 2Cor. 3:14.
Jesus is Lord!
Prayer.
Father in the name of Jesus, empower me by your Spirit for productive and effective kingdom service in this prophetic season and beyond Acts 1:8.
Action.
Go after your converts and ensure all of them appear in church tomorrow, Sunday.
Priestly Blessings.
Every of your convert this year shall be established in the faith and the church!
Your labor in the kingdom shall return as abundant blessing in your life!
