Memory verse:

“And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy

bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the

 midst of thee.”

“There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land:

the number of thy days I will fulfil.”

  • Exo. 23:25-26.

The fundamental law that guides life on the earth is the law of seed time and harvest Gen. 8:22.  When we live by the understanding of this rule, we make the most of our life on the earth. In essence, our seed determines what come back to us as individuals. And our seed include our thoughts, words, deeds and giving; they affect and influence our life, and not any other. Therefore, serving God is not to God’s benefit because He is the ‘I AM THAT I AM’, whether we serve Him or not Exo. 3:14; Mal. 3:6. Serving God is not helping the church, because God the owner is more than enough and has committed Himself to build His church Mat. 16:18. And serving God is not doing the pastor a favor, because the pastor himself need to serve to qualify for God’s blessing 1Cor. 3:8. Serving God is absolutely the benefit of the individual Exo. 23:25-26.

The Benefit the Accrue to the Believer in Serving God.

  1. Serving God guarantees supernatural breakthrough.

One basic factor of life is challenges, they are normal to life 1Cor. 10:13. The challenges are on the mission of hell to stop the believer from attaining his glorious destiny. Serving God empowers the believer to clear off the challenges, thereby gain access to the destiny of glory ordained for his life Isa. 45:1-3; Lk. 5:3-8.

  • Serving God guarantees the meeting of all our needs.

When we give ourselves to meeting kingdom needs, in return God is committed to meeting all our needs in life Gal. 6:7. The needs of man are more than money and finance; serving God will make all the needs in the life of the believer, both financial and what money cannot buy to be met supernaturally Mat. 6:33; 2Chr. 15:12-15.

The good news is that serving God is a choice, not a gift of calling Jos. 24:15. When one makes the choice, nothing is permitted to change it, not even the devil Deu. 30:19.
