Life is a race; one is either running or playing, one is either a runner or a day-dreamer 1Cor. 9:24-27. The truth is that one cannot be engaged in a race and not know. Therefore, one cannot be engaged in the race of life and not be aware. Everyone in a race is physically engaged on the track, with the tape ahead that he is pressing towards. What are the things that show one is truly engaged in the race of life?

Scriptural understanding for running the race of life.

1. Engage a cry of the heart on the prayer altar.

We secure God’s hand essential to deliver result on the prayer altar 1Kgs. 18:42-46; Neh. 1:1-10. In essence, a passionate engagement on the prayer altar shows that one knows he is engaged in a race in life.

2. Seeking God with all of our heart.

Seeking God with all of our hearts is a vital requirement to secure answer on the prayer altar, which is essential to run the race of life with result Jer. 29:13; Isa. 38:1-5.

Remember, we have identified serving God particularly in soul winning as the main responsibility in the race of life Job 36:11; Lk. 22:25-27.

Returns on spiritual stewardship.

1. Supernatural wisdom.

Soul winning brings the believer into partnership with Christ Mat. 28:20. When one walks with the all wise God, he walks in divine wisdom Pro. 13:20.

2. Supernatural fruitfulness.

Serving God makes the believer to bring forth his desired fruits in the due season Exo. 23:25-26; Psa. 127:3. When one serves God, he become supernaturally fruitful in all areas of life.
