Memory verse:
“And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: 15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.” – 1Jn. 5:14-15.
Prayer is a commandment of God to every believer, and like every commandment, it is ordained for believers’ profit Mat. 6:6. It is designed to give believers an edge in the competitive world in which they find themselves Heb. 4:16. To enjoy the benefits of prayer, we must understand how to engage in it and get results always Ecc. 10:15. The good news is that God has promised His commitment to answer every prayer of a believer Mat. 7:7-8; Mk. 11:24.

- Engage in Revelation-Driven Prayer.
Revelation refers to spiritual understanding of God’s word on a particular subject of interest Mat. 4:3-4. Whatever the word of God says, is the will of God on that subject matter Mat. 8:1-3. When we engage the will of God in prayer, we have the guarantee of answer 1Jn. 5:14-15. This implies that every believer who desires to have their prayer deliver results must engage with what God’s word says; by this, they remind God of His will on the matter, which guarantees answers in prayers Isa. 43:26; 41:21; hos. 14:2.
