Being a child of God and a member of the household of faith by salvation through Christ makes for an enviable life Rms. 8:16-17. Good understanding of required demands is key to experiencing this life of glory and envy Psa. 119:144; Pro. 13:15. A life of prayer is one of the demands that makes believer’s life enviable Jn. 16:23-24; Jer. 33:3. Praying for oneself is great and delivers divine intervention, but praying for others is the guarantee for an enviable life, because it invokes divine favor Psa. 102:13-15; 1Pet. 2:5.
Understanding the Spiritual Exercise of Praying for Others.
- Praying for Others is Watering Others Lives.
God’s law is that what each person sows into life through thoughts, words, and actions become his lot in greater dimension Gen. 8:22. This means, as we water the lives of others through prayers, we are watered back in return Pro. 11:25; Eph. 6:8.
- What Should We Pray?
Believers are called to pray for Word increase, which will lead to multiplications of disciples Acts 6:4,7; 2Ths. 3:1. This is because Word increase triggers signs and wonders, which are natural magnet that draws multitude to church Acts 4:30-33; 19:.12,19-20.
From scripture, we understand that as we advance God’s kingdom, He advances our destiny in return Mat. 6:33; 1Sam. 12:6.
Jesus is Lord!
Prayer.
Father, I receive fresh grace for the lifestyle of intercession from today Zch. 4:7.
Action.
Pray for the increase of God’s word in the home-cell that will result in supernatural growth of the sell this month.
