Memory verse:     

“My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him. 6 He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved. 7 In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.”                        – Psa. 62:5-7.

We belong to a kingdom of responsibility; only those who embrace these responsibilities enjoy the kingdom blessings Due. 28:1-2. Faith is a fundamental responsibility of the kingdom that defines the experience of each one in the kingdom Hab. 2:4; Mat. 9:29. Scriptural definition of faith is expectation, hence believing means expecting Heb. 11:1. Therefore, expectation is vital in determining believers experience in life Pro. 23:18.

The Power of Expectation.

  1. The Example of Abraham’s Servant.

Abraham’s servant had the Herculean task of getting a bride and bringing her to Isaac Gen. 24:1-5. Abraham’s servant prayed, and expected divine speed on his mission, which God granted Gen. 24:7-11,12-26.

  1. Expectation Guarantees Delivery of Answer to Prayers.

The prayer that will command answer requires clear expectation Mk. 11:24. Whatever we desire, when we pray believing or expecting becomes delivered.

  1. Expectation Enhances Our Confidence.

Confidence is a covenant demand for commanding result in the kingdom Heb. 10:35. Expectation is the fuel for confidence, which in turn empowers delivery of result Heb. 4:9-11; Dan. 6:10,22-23,

Jesus is Lord!

Prayer.                                                 

Father, by the help of the Holy Spirit the power of expectation comes alive in my prayer life, thereby making me to prevail on the prayer altar from now Psa. 62:5.

Action.

Define clearly your expectation for every aspect of your life.
