Memory verse:
“Sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith the LORD. 3 For thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left; and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited.” – Isa. 54:1,3.
We serve a God who does not change but ordained everything He created for continuous change Mal. 3:6; Ezk. 21:27. This means that everything in a believer’s life is to keep changing until he emerges as the envy of his world Pro. 4:18; 2Cor. 3:18. We need to understand how to experience the reality of the continuous turnaround Ecc. 10:15. Scripture shows that praise is the master key to turnaround in life, but it must come from a heart full of joy if it is to deliver results Hab. 3:17-19; Isa. 29:13.
What Is in Praise that Guarantees Turnaround?
- Praise Invokes God’s Manifestation for Turnaround.
God’s manifest presence always responds to praise Psa. 22:3. This implies that when our praise goes up, God comes down in person into our situation. Every time God manifests in a situation, there is bound to be a turnaround for good Isa. 64:1-3.
- Praise Triggers the Release of God’s Glory.
God’s glory is released when a believer engages in genuine praise 2Chr. 5:13-14. When the glory of God comes down, all issues of shame and reproach are terminated Zph. 3:17,19-20.
Therefore, we can praise our way out of every captivity of the wicked into liberty Isa. 54:1-3.
