Encounter means meeting someone unexpectedly or a sudden experience of something or someone. In essence, encounter with God is the experience of a man meeting with God on one-on-one basis, which always result in the total change of man’s life story Gen. 32:30-32. From scriptures we understand that encounter with God don’t just happen, it is a product of spiritual preparation Exo. 19:10-11.
Vital understanding essential for encounter with God.
- Every genuine encounter opens new chapter to the life of a believer.
The appearance of God terminates man’s struggle, granting access to all that is available in God Exo. 3:7-10. In essence, encounter with God opens new chapter in the life of the individual Lk. 5:3-8; Mk. 10:46-51.
- One encounter with God brought Gideon to limelight.
Gideon saw himself as a nobody; the least in a family that is poor, with demobilizing fear for the enemy Jdg. 6:13-15. He had just one encounter with the Lord, and his story turned from obscurity to limelight Jdg. 6:11-12,16; 8:22,28.
- Sacrifice is a covenant demand that facilitates encounter with God.
Sacrifice means letting go of what has great cost on one’s life, and giving it to God for kingdom advancement 2Sam. 24:24-25. A sacrifice will always secure attention and attract of God into the believer’s situation Gen. 22:16-18; 1Kgs. 3:3-5.
Therefore, the responsibility of every believer who loves to make the most of the upcoming Shiloh is to prepare spiritually Exo. 19:10-11.
Jesus is Lord!
Prayer.
Father, in the name of Jesus, I receive the help of the Holy Spirit to prepare spiritually, thereby not miss my encounters at Shiloh this year Pro. 16:1.
Action.
Prepare for Shiloh 2024 sacrifice, to secure God’s hand in your affair never before.

Receive the release of grace to maximize this great moment that is ahead of us!
This year’s Shiloh shall be the best Shiloh till date in your life!L
