Memory verse:
“And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:”
“And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God.” – Deu. 28:1-2.
God’s will is to see believers overflowing with His blessings Psa. 5:12; Acts 3:26. We identified obedience as the trigger for the blessing of God Deu. 28:1-2. The blessings of the kingdom respond to the obedience of believers. Every excuse for disobedience disconnect from God’s blessing, irrespective of 2Cor. 10:6.
Scriptural Understanding that Empowers for Obedience.
- Obedience Must be Total.
Partial obedience does not deliver God’s blessing. Obedience is either total, else it is disobedience 1Sam. 15:13-20. The challenge is that believers allow the enemy to negotiate their obedience Exo. 10:7-11.
- Obedience Invokes God’s Manifestation.
Obedience will always move God to manifest in the affairs of the believer Jn. 14:21. Every manifestation of God will result in demonstration of His strange acts Jn. 9:1-8: Gal. 2:8.
- The Example of Naaman.
The prophet gave Naaman the instruction to dip in River Jordan seven times for him to be made whole, which made him angry 2Kgs. 5:10-12. When he obeyed, he was cleansed of the leprosy instantly 2Kgs. 5:12-14.
Jesus is Lord!

Memory verse: “Master, which is the great commandment in the law? 37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour […]
