Memory verse:   

“In the multitude of people is the king’s honour: but in the want of people is the destruction of the prince.”

• Pro. 14:28.

Scriptures make us to understand that the growth of the church is God’s delight Pro. 14:28; Matt. 16:18; Lk. 12:32. But God’s hand is a principal factor behind the growth of His church Jn. 6:44; 1Cor. 3:6. Remember, our God is a God of strange works and strange acts Isa. 28:1. Also, He specializes in sudden manifestation, which makes things that naturally would have taken a period of time to happen in a moment Mal. 3:1. Therefore, to have the church grow to double of her attendance within seven (7) days is in line with the nature of God Mk. 10:27.

For every act of God, scriptures make it clear that there is always what the believer is to do. In essence, if the church will see her attendance double by this next Sunday, we must identify what to do and give ourselves to it. These shall be the subject of our teaching all through this week.

The Covenant Forces to Invoke God to Double Church Attendance Suddenly.

1. We must engage our faith in God that can accomplish any feat within one week.

The faith of the believer is the limit to what God can do for him Matt. 9:29. One way to ignite faith for a particular thing is to locate where God has done it before and meditate on it Rms. 10:17. We have scriptural instances of God’s strange acts done within seven days; the creation of the earth in 7-days Gen. 1:3-31; the addition of almost the entire city to the church in 7-days Acts 13:44. We serve a God of ‘repeated performance’, therefore He will repeat this feat again this week in our church Mal. 3:6.

• We must engage the altar of prayer for delivery.

God is limited to deliver only what the believer ask of Him Matt. 7:7-8; 1Jn. 5:14-15. Prayer is one force that moves the hand of God, which has the capacity to make anything happen suddenly Isa. 66:7-8; Deut. 2:24,36. But we must be specific in prayer in order to see our desired result delivered in reality Mk. 11:24.

To have the attendance of the church double within a week might appear humanly out of reach, but not impossible. Therefore, it is not a big deal with God to make the church grow suddenly and supernaturally to double her size within the next seven days counting from today.

Prayer.

Father in the name of Jesus, give us all heathen across the city of Calabar as you draw them with your hand into this assembly to meet with Christ come next Sunday, thereby fulfilling the prophetic word of double attendance come Sunday Psa. 2:8.

Action.

Draw a prayer schedule for this week, which will be intense than any other time before.
