Memory verse:
“Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.” – Psa. 35:27.
God has provided everything that His children would ever need to experience a great life on the earth (2Pet. 1:3). The implication is that every believer has been provided with what it takes to be great; we only need to understand how to access them (Ecc. 10:15). The Scripture teaches that taking pleasure in the advancement of the kingdom of God qualifies a believer for supernatural order of favor that grants access to all provisions of God in life (Exo. 3:21; Psa. 102:13-15). This implies that a believer is not permitted to lack any good thing if he remains committed to the pursuit of kingdom advancement, which simply means pursuit of church growth (Psa. 35:27). The pursuit of kingdom advancement is what we refer to as kingdom service (1Cor. 3:6-9).
Scriptural Example of Giants Made Through Serving God.
David was described by Scripture as a man with a heart for God (1Sam. 13:14). He was the king of the strongest nation of his days, the nation of Israel, and an addicted servant of God (Psa. 89:20-24). David demonstrated his heart of service for God in his value for souls; certain distressed and debased people came to David; he took them in and raised them into mighty men (1Sam. 22:2; 2Sam. 23:8). This, among other reasons is what identified David as a true servant of God (Jn. 15:16). David emerged on the platform of service as a supernaturally blessed individual, who is still celebrated till today (2Chr. 29:3,8).
