Memory verse:
“And it came to pass, that when he was returned, having received the kingdom, then he commanded these servants to be called unto him, to whom he had given the money, that he might know how much every man had gained by trading. 16 Then came the first, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained ten pounds. 17 And he said unto him, Well, thou good servant: because thou hast been faithful in a very little, have thou authority over ten cities.” – Lk. 19:15-17.
Scripture states that our life on earth is a race; each one is running on his defined track, and no one’s path is designed cross another (Heb. 12:1). The good news is that God has released grace on each one to run the race for his life and deliver results expected (1Cor. 9:24). Just as it is in the natural, there is reward at the end of the race, but only those who deliver results become entitled to rewards (1Cor. 3:8). The midst of the year is a race; each of us must run to earn the reward due to us in this race (Hab. 3:2,17-19).
Scriptural Understanding that Empowers Delivery of Results.
- God Reward System is Reapers Only.
There many who participate in kingdom advancement endeavors, but God rewards only those who are reapers (Jn. 4:36). These are those who have converts that have been raised into disciples of Christ.
- Turning Many to Righteousness Turns One into a Star.
When a believer commits to turning many to righteousness, by winning them to Christ and ensuring they are established in the faith, he emerges a star (Dan. 12:3).
- God Honors Individuals Only.
As much as the scripture encourages working together with other brethren to foster greater rewards (Ecc. 4:9). God does not honor groups but individuals (1Sam. 2:30).
Jesus is Lord!
Prayer.
Father, I receive the grace to deliver the results expected of me in this ongoing midst of the year season, thereby positioning me for full rewards (1Cor. 15:10).
Action.
God after all the converts for this week to ensure they are in church tomorrow.
Priestly Blessings.
Every one of your converts shall be planted in the church and established in the faith!
You shall not miss the reward for this season, but shall partake of the full blessing!
