There is God’s way to everything in life, when a man locate it and follow, he has the guarantee of having the right and desired experience in life Jer. 6:16. The scriptures make us to understand that God’s way to financial fortune is the covenant, and it anchors on giving or seed sowing Deu. 8:18; Gen. 8:22.
What is this Covenant?
The covenant is the spiritual platform where we commit God by our obedience of faith to make good His promise Jer. 33:20-21; Deu. 8:18; Gen. 8:22. In the covenant of financial fortune, the believer’s obedience to the demand of giving commits God to his fortune and wealth Lk. 6:38; Pro. 11:24-26.
Avenues through which we Access Returns on our Giving.
- Through the blessings of God.
Blessing is the power to succeed and obtain one’s desire against all odds. This power is what God releases on a believer when he walks the covenant, which enables his life to command the attraction of money thereby, enjoy financial prosperity Pro. 10:22; Gen. 22:16-18. The blessing of God is what a believer should go for in life, not material things; blessing will make material and money to come to the believer.
- Through supernatural favor.
Favor is kindness or help that is beyond one’s credentials. When one has it, the individual will enjoy things he seems not to be qualified or labored for Exo. 3:21; 12:36; Psa. 30:7. Favor is an essential for prosperity, and it is one thing God releases on the believer when he walks in the covenant.
- Through Priestly blessing.
Priestly blessing is when God’s servant pronounces God’s blessing, thereby invoking God’s power for wealth on the believer Num. 6:23-27. Often, God waits on his servant to pronounce His blessing before He releases His power, which is what will bring the wealth Gen. 14:18-20; 24:1; 1Kgs. 17:8-15.
- Through the rain of divine ideas.
It is with ideas that we trade in the world, and men of ideas rule our world Gen. 30:30-33,37-43. One powerful way God bring men into fortune is by giving them ideas. One idea from God will turn a man into a wonder to his world.
- Through parental blessings.
One other cheap access to the power of God for wealth is through the pronouncement of biological parents Eph. 6:1-2. When the father and mother say a believer will prosper, money will become attracted to the believer, and no devil can reverse it Gen. 37:27-30,33; 49:22-26.
In conclusion, a clear understanding and practise of the covenant empowers the believer to become the chief architect of his financial life. It is never late to step into the covenant, if you do today, your financial story will take a dramatic turn.
To anyone reading this that will love to give his/her life to Christ, pray this prayer out loud with me from your heart: “Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins; wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me, on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, I believe that my sins are forgiven; I’m justified by your blood; I’m born-again; I’m saved; I’m a child of God; I’m free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Father, in the name of Jesus, I make the decision for the covenant of financial fortune right now; I receive your grace to walk in it for live Deu. 30:19.
