Memory verse:
“Hearken to me, ye that follow after righteousness, ye that seek the LORD: look unto the rock whence ye are hewn, and to the hole of the pit whence ye are digged. 2 Look unto Abraham your father, and unto Sarah that bare you: for I called him alone, and blessed him, and increased him.” – Isa. 51:1-2.
The understanding that no one is at a disadvantage is key to making the most of one’s life. Scripture makes it clear that as good as credentials are, they are not the primary factors that make life Ecc. 9:11. Else people would be subject to the factors that affect those credentials. Life is a product of the opportunities utilized Rev. 3:20. The good thing is that opportunities come to everyone time and again Mat. 25:14-15. How we respond differs; while some seize the opportunity, others ignore or transfer them. Our choice of response determines our outcome in life Deu. 30:19.
Responsibilities that Prepare Believers for Maximizing Opportunities.
- Bearing Fruit as an Individual.
Bearing fruit in this context refers to reconciling people back to God, popularly known as soul winning. Every child of God has a ministry of reconciliation in Christ 2Cor. 5:17-20. Believers are identified as branch of the vine, and ordained for fruit bearing, the branch that fails to bear fruits is cut down Jn. 15:1-2. We are chosen and ordained to bring forth fruits and our fruits should abide, those who do enjoy fulfilment of their desires Jn. 15:16. All of these point to this end; every believer is to bear fruit as an individual to maximize his life on the earth.
