Memory verse:
“I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:” – Deu. 30:19.
Each one’s understanding is vital to the experience they have in life Psa. 119:144; Pro. 21:16. A good understanding guarantees a glorious life Pro. 13:15. The understanding that our choice as individuals is what determines our lot is basic in life Deu. 30:19. This is because God designed that life presents opportunities to everyone relatively in equal proportion Mat. 18:14-15. The choice of how each one responds to the opportunities determines the outcome in life. This means that we need to accept the responsibility to make the most of opportunities life presents to us, so that we may have a glorious experience in life.
Responsibilities Prescribed in Scripture that Guarantee Success.
- The Responsibility of Building One’s Faith.
In God’s kingdom, life responds to everyone according to their faith Mat. 9:29; Hab. 2:4. As much as we serve a God that can do all things, it is only His word (scriptural or prophetic) we believe, He is committed to perform in our lives Lk. 1:45. When faith comes alive, the devil loses relevance, and all things respond to a believer Eph. 6:16; Mk. 9:23. Faith is not automatic, we are called to build faith as individuals, and it has unlimited capacity for growth 2Ths. 1:3. This means that how far we grow our faith will determine how well our lives will be. Everyone that desires a life of glory should simply make building his faith the primary task in life.
