Memory verse:
“And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.” Lk. 1:45.
Our God is very strict with His words; there is no careless word that proceeds from Him. The scriptures make us to understand that every word that comes from God is ordained for performance Isa. 55:10-11. Whether it’s the documented word of God, spoken by the Holy Spirit to the believer, or through His servant, none is permitted to fail Mat. 24:35. But to see God’s word become fulfilled, the believer must have faith in the word Lk. 1:45.
How faith powers the delivery of prophetic words.
- Faith makes the believer to pass the test that qualifies for divine performance.
From scriptures, we understand that there are tests the believer will always go through before he becomes qualified for anything in the kingdom Gen. 22:1. Faith is the last test to pass to see prophetic word come though Heb. 11:9-11,16-18. Until the faith of the believer is tested and approved, the promise of God may never become a reality in his life. Our faith is tested with the demand to take the appropriate action.
- Faith enables the believer to take appropriate steps.
The scriptures make us to understand that our steps are vital in determining our experience in kingdom life Psa. 37:23. Every believer that will experience the fulfillment of prophetic word must take steps of faith Heb. 4:2. Often, the steps of faith will make the believer to be the odd man out; this is why many fail at taking delivery of prophecy. For instance, ten out of the twelve spies brought a report of unbelief to the people, but the faith of the two that took steps of faith made them to possess the Promised Land Num. 13:26-30,31-39; 14:1-10,21-24.
Jesus is Lord!
Prayer.
Father in the name of Jesus, and by the Holy Spirit help my faith thereby enabling me to take delivery of the prophecy over my life this year with speed Mk. 9:24.
Action.
Appraise your steps, and ensure they are steps of faith for the delivery of prophecy.
