Memory verse:

We serve the God whose words are commandments; God does not advice, every word from God is a commandment Deu. 28:1. Every commandment of God empowers the obedient to deliver profits 2Tim. 3:16-17. In essence, everyone that desires the life of profit only need to identify the commandments of God and subscribe to them. We can therefore conclude that loses in life is a product of disobedience to God’s commandments Deu. 28:15.
Basic commandments of God as contained in scriptures.
- The love commandment.
The scriptures make it clear that all the commandments or laws of the Old Testament were summarized in just one in the New Testament, and it is the love commandment Gal. 5:14. Love is hence referred to as the greatest commandment, and the vital proof of being a disciple of Christ Mat. 22:38-40; Jn. 13:34-35. Obedience to the love commandment procures amazing blessings that makes life profitable. These include:
- Genuine love for God brings the believer into favor with God 102:13-15; Job 22:21-25.
- Love for God brings into partnership with God, and sets free from fear and torments in life 4:16-18; Php. 1:28; Pro. 29:25.
- Deeper love for God enhances the divine nature content in the believer, thereby establishing our dominion in life 3:17-19; Mk. 10:27; Dan. 4:35.
- Love for God makes everything to work in our life 8:28; 1Cor. 13:1-3.

Father in the name of Jesus, endue me by your Spirit for unwavering obedience to every instruction from you thereby empower me for unending profit in life Ezk. 37:27.
