Soul winning is the main task of believers, and it is what determines the outcome in other areas of kingdom life 2Cor. 5:17-20; Matt. 6:33. But soul winning is one of the most uninteresting spiritual exercise in God’s kingdom, because many lack the understanding of ‘how to’ effectively engage in it Eccl. 10:15. This makes soul winning to be unduly stressful with little or no result. There is no task that one makes input and has not result to show that will be attractive, this is the case with soul winning and the church.

In our teaching this week, we have established that divine wisdom is what the believer needs for supernatural productivity in soul wining Eccl. 9:14-16. When the wisdom of God is engaged in soul winning, no city will be too hard to take over for the kingdom Deut. 2:24,36. The challenge is knowing how to get at this wisdom for effective and productive soul winning adventure.

How to Access the Wisdom for Effective Soul Winning.

1. Revelation of God’s word Psa. 119:105; 2Tim. 3:15.

God’s wisdom is packaged in His word, but it has to be unveiled through revelation. Revelation simply means the spiritual understanding of God’s word, to the extent of knowing how to correctly apply and generate desired result. God’s word contain instruction concerning every aspect of life, soul winning inclusive. A cheap way to access revelation from the word is by praying for the opening of one’s eyes to the word Psa. 119:18.

• Meditation in God’s word Psa. 119:97-100; 1Tim. 4:13,15.

Meditation simply means deep and prolonged thinking on scriptures. It is through this that the believer gain access to the virtues in the word, one of which is the wisdom of God. Spending time thinking in the word of God will deliver wisdom to the believer, which will deliver him from undue sweat on the field of soul winning, and empower him for great result.

God never gives His children a task that He has not empowered them for Jug. 6:14. He has made His wisdom available for our success in soul winning endeavor, but we need to accept the responsibility to lay hold on it. I therefore believe in this ongoing ‘Operation who is on the Lord’s side’, we shall see amazing result and strange dimension of growth to the glory of the name of Jesus.

Prayer.

Father in the name of Jesus, baptize me with the Spirit of wisdom thereby empower me to be supernaturally fruitful in my soul winning engagement from today Matt. 13:54.

Action.

Take time to locate scriptures on soul winning, and spend sufficient time to think on them until you receive inspiration on soul winning.
