Memory verse:
“Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.” Amos 3:7.
God has spoken concerning this year; it is fortune 2024, showing that the race of 2024 is on already Isa. 46:9-10. Every time God speaks of what is to happen, a prophetic race has been initiated Hab. 2:3. We need to be instructed on how to run this race, to obtain the reward and profit in it 1Cor. 9:24. We run a prophetic race to obtain the promise by engaging in thanksgiving on what God has spoken Rms. 4:20-21.
Understand the power of thanksgiving in prophecy fulfillment.
- The example of Jehoshaphat.
Jehoshaphat had three mighty nations come against him and his small nation of Judah in battle 2Chr. 20:1. The situation was so desperate that he and the entire nation did not know what to do 2Chr. 20:12. It was by a prophetic word that Jehoshaphat and Judah turned the story around 2Chr. 20:14-17.
- Jehoshaphat ran with the prophecy by engaging in praise.
When Jehoshaphat and Judah cried to God for help, a prophecy came forth of supernatural victory 2Chr. 20:14,17. But Jehoshaphat could only take delivery of the prophecy as he ran with it, this is by engaging in praise to God for the promise 2Chr. 20:22-24,
- Thanksgiving is the trigger for fulfillment of prophecy.
Every time believers engage in the celebration of God through rejoicing, thanksgiving and praise, God is invoked Exo. 15:11. This moves God to make everything He has promised to come to fulfillment Deu. 1:11; Jer. 30:19.
Jesus is Lord!
Prayer.
Father in the name of Jesus, as I give thanks for fortune 2024 your word for me for the year shall come to pass with speed Rms. 4:20-21.
